I want to welcome you to the Rock Church website. Our heart here at Rock Church is to be a place where people of all walks of life can grow in their faith, be strengthened and encouraged in their walk with the Lord, and be ambassadors of Christ's love wherever they go.
I want to leave you with these words found in 2 Corinthians 13:14: May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Rock Church Worship Center is a multi-cultural, spirit-filled, non-denominational, Bible-based church that was established in 2004 by Pastors Bill and Debbie Smalt through the leading of the Holy Spirit. Pastors Bill and Debbie were trained and ordained as Pastors under the ministry of Bishops John and Anne Gimenez, founders of the Rock Church in Virginia Beach, VA. Today, Rock Church Worship Center is one of over 500 Rock Churches around the world.
In October 2013, Pastors Bill and Debbie were called to assist Bishop Anne at the Rock Church in Virginia Beach. At that time, Pastor Chris Stark was set in as Assistant Pastor. He was ordained Senior Pastor of Rock Church Worship Center in November 2014.

We believe that there is one true God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Deity of Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That He was born of the virgin Mary, came to Earth in human form, was crucified, died, and was buried. He was resurrected on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God.

Water Baptism
We believe every believer should be identified with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, through water baptism by immersion.

Holy Spirit
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is an endowment of power subsequent to conversion to be effective witnesses for Christ in every aspect of Christian living.
